# Punch-in Method

## 1. Function Description&#x20;

The system supports employee attendance using Wi-Fi punch-in, GPS location punch-in, and attendance machine punch-in. Therefore, corresponding punch-in Wi-Fi, punch-in location, and time attendance machine settings should be made in the system. After setting the punch-in method, you can make relevant associations when clocking in and clocking in the APP of the attendance group.

## 2. Wi-Fi Punch-in Settings&#x20;

* When employees enter the company's office area and connect to the company Wi-Fi, they can punch in via Wi-Fi in the YOOV WORK APP. The system will record the Wi-Fi that the employee is connected to when punch in.
* Operation steps: \
  \[Attendance] > \[Attendance Setting] > \[Punch-in Method] > \[Punch-in Wi-Fi] > \[Add]

Note: Because most wireless routers (Router) release two receiving spectrums (2.4G & 5G) to enhance network coverage and connection speed, if you want to check the Wi-Fi name and BSSID, it is recommended to use the third-party software Acrylic Wi-Fi Analyzer (free registration). Check the administrator's company Wi-Fi name and BSSID.

Acrylic Wi-Fi Analyzer Guide

* After downloading, click Start capture

<figure><img src="/files/xbJC2mbiTQ3FbmtrhUJm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Then click on the SSID to sort. Taking our company's Wi-Fi network as an example, the same name (YOOV-5G) will have an array of different MAC Addresses (BSSID).

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/ycjoDilLqueF5BaOkjba" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* Since the client/App will automatically select the strongest Wi-Fi access point among multiple BSSIDs in the same Wi-Fi name, the company must set up all Wi-Fi access points (Wi-Fi names and their combination of BSSID)

<figure><img src="/files/LIlDZVlbhJstXIvYX7lz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* After the administrator finds the Wi-Fi name and BSSID, he or she can enter the SSID information into the Wi-Fi name and the Mac Address into the BSSID as shown in the figure above.

## 3. Location Punch-in Settings (GPS)

* If your company fails to allow employees to clock in using Wi-Fi, you can set up GPS clocking in according to the image below.
* Operation steps: \
  \[Attendance] > \[Attendance Setting] > \[Punch In Method] > \[Punch In Location] > \[Add new Punch-in location]

<figure><img src="/files/OJzi5ruL7qGv3NkblK9v" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Determine the check-in location: \
  The name of the punch-in location can be manually located on the map, and the system will automatically recognize the name of the punch-in location. You can also search for the location name through the search bar, then select the work location and punch-in range, and click "Save".
