# Reminder Settings

## 1. Function Description

In \[Attendance] > \[Reminder Settings], the administrator can enable the settings of punch-in reminder, missing card reminder, and shift modification reminder. After setting, employees will receive system reminder messages on the APP.

## 2. Check-in Reminder&#x20;

* Punch in reminder, that is, turn on the clock in and out reminder.
* Set reminder time before work and after get off work, and set the time to 5-15 minutes.
* If the shift of the day is two or three times a day, the system will only remind you when you start work for the first time and when you get off work for the last time.
* Administrators can select attendance groups to which punch in reminders apply.

## 3. Missing Card Reminder&#x20;

* Missing card reminder, that is, a reminder for not clocking in and attendance.
* After turning on the card absence reminder, the administrator can set the reminder object, the card absence node (on or off card), the reminder time, the reminder method (email or push notification), and the applicable attendance group.

## 4. Shift Scheduling Reminder&#x20;

* Shift scheduling reminders and shift modification reminders are applied to the Rostering attendance group.
* If the administrator modifies an employee's shift, the system will send it to the employee APP through a message notification.
* If "Allow employees to select their own shifts when punching in on days when no shifts are scheduled" is checked in the "Rostering Attendance Group" (picture below), so as to facilitate the handling of temporary changes, then in the shift modification reminder , you can turn on the third item "Does the employee change the shift when clocking in that day, and inform the relevant person"
* After setting the reminder, you need to click "Save"
