Description of [Wage Item]
The salary item is an item of the salary table template. Administrators can add items, rename them, add notes, etc. according to their needs. Note that system items are not allowed to be modified, but they can be set to hide/show.
The salary item will directly affect the content of the monthly salary display. Therefore, the administrator can check whether the salary items in the system are sufficient. If there are deficiencies, the administrator can add/delete salary items by themselves.
Some categories or salary items are preset by the system. If the salary item is not applicable, the administrator can only hide it but cannot delete it.
If the fixed salary item needs to be divided into basic salary and position salary, you can "add a new salary item" under the fixed salary item.
Operation steps: ① [Payroll Management] > [Payroll Settings] > [Basic Setting] > [Wage Item] > [Fixed Wage Item] >[Add Salary Item] ② Enter the project name and remarks, and click "Confirm" ③ After adding, click "Save and take effect"
If employees are calculated on hourly/daily wages, a salary item can be added under "Hourly Wage". Click [Add Salary Item] and fill in the name and remarks of the salary item. Click [Confirm] again to complete adding salary items. After completion, please click [Save and take into effect] at the bottom, otherwise all newly added salary items will not be saved.
After setting the salary items, enter "Payroll Settings" and proceed to "Add Salary Template".
The salary template is the salary table used when calculates wages. The salary structure is the sum of all salary items. The salary template is composed of the items enabled by the salary structure.
If the salary items of all employees are the same, the administrator only needs to create one salary template.
However, if employees have different salary items (for example, full-time and part-time salary items are different), you can refer to the following steps:
Operation steps: ① [Payroll] > [Payroll Settings] > [Basic Setting] > [Template] > [Add Template] ② Perform basic settings and fill in the template name and remarks ③ Set up the template items and set the participating salary items. The administrator can add or remove salary items in the template according to needs. The system claim is required for the payroll calculation. You can set the item to be displayed in the wage form or not. After setting the salary table template, click "Save and take into effect" ④ If the company has multiple similar salary templates, you can "Copy" the corresponding salary table in the operation column. Copy the same items to a new template and continue editing to reduce repeated operations.
The payroll settings is calculated according to the attendance and salary rules. The administrator should first set the salary rules to be used under payroll settings.
If wages are based on time or piece rates, you need to set time wage and piece rate rules;
If the salary structure includes performance, commission, bonus, etc., you need to set performance pay rules;
For personal tax payment, you also need to pay attention to the setting of the tax cycle;
If there is a subsidy, set the subsidy rules;
For attendance deductions for lateness, early departure, absence of cards, and absence from work, they must be set in the attendance deduction rules;
Finally, associate these salary rules to the attendance and payroll settings.
If you have hourly/daily wage employees, please add rules in "Hourly Salary".
